I was born on December 12, 1745 in New York City, New York. I was the oldest child in my family. When I was eight I went to New Rocchel boarding school. Then when was old enough I went to Kings College.

A horn book was something children could read from . It sometimes had A, B, C's on it   but the paper was so expensive to cover it they would take a thin slice of a cow horn. It was so thin that you could see through it.
