Clothing and Friends
The clothing we women wore was dresses. We would either wear
long silk dresses or regular dresses with long sleeves. Sometimes I would wear
a bonnet but no always. That was the clothing I wore.
One of my best friends was Mercy Otis Warren. She was a talented writer. We would go look at clothes or do many other fun activities.

Clue #2
Childhood
When I was little, I lived in Weymouth, Massachusetts. I lived on a coastal farm about fifteen miles south of Boston. I was the second child out three siblings. My chores were to help in the kitchen or just around the house. My father was a Congregational minister. My mother was just like any other woman in the town, a housewife.
Some children in my home town playing marbles.
Adult Life
When I grew up I got married and left Weymouth. I became gentry an live in a very nice home. I wrote to many important leaders. I wrote to Thomas Jefferson saying a little thing I said to my husband, "Don't forget the ladies!". Then I wrote to Benjaman Franklin telling him to get to work instead of paying all your attention to the ladies. I wrote to George Washington reminding him how smart he is. I also wrote to Alexander Hamilton telling him to watch out for Arron Burr.

Background
I grew up in Weymouth. I left Weymouth, became gentry and lived a life almost alone because my husband was always away for business. When he was gone, I would write to friends in congress. I would also take care of the children. I took care of the house and when he was there, he would just be doing work anyway, but my life was still good as it would be with him.
Who Am I?
I was Married to John Adams, whom most of you know as the second President.
