I was born on Jan. 17, 1706. I live near the Boston Harbor. My dad is a candle and soap maker. I thought myself French, German, Italian, and Spanish. I also worked for my brother for about until I was 17, when I ran away from home.

Clue 3

I started a hospital, a free academy, a fire department. I am also made the first clock with a second hand, and daylight savings time and bifocals which let you see far and near and a new stove, and some swim fins to help you swim faster. I also built a long wooden arm to reach things that are too high to reach. I also invented an odometer that told how far I had ridden.

This the type of hospital that I opened.

Clue 4

I loved to experiment with electricity so I got down to science. I tried lots of fun experiments on people to figure out if electricity travels through humans. I made a cork "Electric spider" with thread for legs. It kept leaping back and forth between a wire and an electric tube just like it was alive. Another time I asked a gentleman and a lady to stand on wax, one to hold an electric tube and the other to hold a wire. When they tried to kiss they got shocked.
Can you guess who I am now?

Clue 5
"We are, I think, in the right Road of Improvement, for we are making experiments." I also said:

"Early to bed early to rise makes a man wealthy, healthy and wise" and

" An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

I also found out if you find a pond that has lots of waves and if you pour oil on it, it will turn as smooth as glass. Also a kite that can pull you across a lake. And when I was experimenting with electricity I made a picture of a king in a golden frame. Anyone who tried to remove the crown was in for a shock.
This is me signing the Declaration of Independence
