Dear Loma and CT Parents and Guardians:
Home and School Club News
It is the time of year when everything accelerates. We owe a tremendous thank you to the incredible team of volunteers from our Home and School Clubs who make the magic happen. Thanks to all of you who helped make the 29th annual Jog-a-thon a success and those who stayed for the amazing post-race Family Dance festivities. Nothing great gets accomplished without the help of our amazing volunteers. The CT Science Fair is this Thursday and Friday during the school day. Family Science Day rounds out the week on Saturday from 2-5pm and the entire community is invited. The CT HSC will host their after school inflatable event for middle school students from 3-5:30pm on Friday, April 29. It seems the same dedicated few families provide the lion’s share of the elbow grease for these important extra-curricular events. There are still several opportunities to help this year. Please check out your child’s school HSC by following these links: http://www.lomaprietahsc.org or http://ctenglish.com. Don’t forget to turn in your Jog-a-thon pledges and order your Loma Year Book now!
For all our classroom and HSC volunteers, please plan to join us for the annual “Volunteer Tea” hosted by the CT and Loma Teachers and Staff. We will be thanking you with a special presentation on May 11th at 12:30pm. Save the date and plan to join us in the Loma Forum. You make a difference!
