Hello! I am Michelle Bowen and this will be my 10th year working for the Loma Prieta School District. After teaching three years in 2nd grade, I am beginning my fourth year teaching 3rd grade. I am originally from Wakefield, Massachusetts (Go Red Sox!), but have lived in our awesome community for the past 17 years. I attended Merrimack College and graduated with a degree in Business in 1993. I received my teaching credential and Masters in Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1999. My husband, Ross, and I are the proud parents of three boys (who all attended Loma and CTE from kindergarten to 8th grade). My oldest son, Cooper, is a sophomore at UCLA. My middle son, Peter, will be a senior at LGHS and my youngest, Tyce, will be a freshman. When I am not teaching at Loma, I love to hike, travel, and spend time with my family.

 

I am looking forward to another wonderful year at Loma Prieta. I feel very fortunate to be able to spend the year with your children.
