    Dear Loma and CT Parents/Guardians:

    Mountain Sized Classroom!

Our 7th grade Yosemite trip is underway this week.  Though chilly, our young adventurers are reportedly well and having a great time.  Cell service is spotty on the trail but here are a couple of images sent by chaperones.  The Yosemite trip is optional for 7th grade students.  The trip combines science, language arts, wilderness skills, and regional history in a world class classroom.  We are very fortunate to live in a part of the country with such spectacular national park access.  I appreciate that staff and parents journey with our students to make this trip one our students will remember for a lifetime. Our students will be returning to campus Friday evening between 8:00-8:30 pm.  If your child has a cell phone to access when they get on the bus, you can message them after 5:00 pm.

Freshmen Residency Packets for Los Gatos High School for Fall 2018.

Please complete the LGHS Freshman Enrollment Packet for LGHS. The paper plus on-line portions needs to be completed and all forms returned to the CT Office by Tuesday Dec. 5, 2017.  Please note that there will be important dates included in the packet.  Please look for that calendar and make note of the deadlines and orientation events.  These are scheduled by the high school and are not flexible locally.  Don’t miss out!  If your child is not planning on attending LGHS, please indicate that on the forms you return to the office.  (I’m just giving you a heads up that this might be a good time to start looking for your favorite 3-5 pictures for the graduation slide show.  Time goes by very fast from here on out.)
