    My Top 3 Moments of the Week...

    1. Playing in the water misters with Loma kids on a very HOT Friday afternoon. Thanks to Paul Harville for putting up the misters. What a refreshing treat -- the kids had a blast!
    2. Seeing our super responsible and kind CT Teacher’s Assistants working with Loma students. What great role models!
    3. Meeting members our new “Loma Trash Team”. This is an eager group of 3rd - 5th grade volunteers who are dedicated to keeping our school clean!

    CT English will host a county-wide cross country meet on Wednesday,September 25thBe advised that traffic on campus and Summit Road will be very heavy throughout the afternoon.

    Box Tops Fundraiser

    Loma Prieta Home and School Club, once again, is participating in Box Tops for Education. We are asking for parents to help collect the Box Tops from participating products and send them to your child’s teacher. Deadline for collection is Oct 29th. Please be sure that the expiration date on them is current.

     

    Box Tops is transitioning into app submission. You can now participate by downloading the app and simply scan your receipt within 14 days of purchase. For more information, see the attached flyer.

     

    Kona Ice

    Save the date! Kona Ice is coming after school to the Building Blocks Parking Lot on September 25th and Thursday, October 24th! We hope that you come out and support this Home and School Club Fundraiser! Please see the attached flyer. Thank you! 

     

    Mountain Mayhem Wrestling Club

    Come give the sport of wrestling a try for the first time or hone new skills with the Mountain Mayhem Wrestling Club! We meet Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Thursday’s at Mountain Bible Church from 2:45 to 4:45pm, through September, when the middle school wrestling season starts.     Mountain Mayhem Beach Workout/Dinner

    Mountain Mayhem is sponsoring a beach workout and dinner on Friday, September 27th at Rio Del Mar beach. Workout, games, team-building activities, and dodgeball on the beach, followed by a pizza and salad dinner. Families welcome to come relax while your kid works up a sweat!
