Dear Loma and CT Families,
My Top 3 Moments of the Week...
- Seeing all the amazing Student Council posters in the Loma forum. I wish we could keep them up all year!
- Celebrating our 3rd– 5th graders Citizen of the Month at the Friday assembly. I am so proud of these hard-working, kind, and thoughtful kids.
- Watching a big group of CT students hula-hooping at lunch recess. Thanks to Lisa for bringing the fun!
Summit Road Pedestrian Bridge Construction
In order to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), upgrades to the path and pedestrian bridge at Summit Road need to be made. The project is scheduled to begin on October 7th with an estimated completion date of December 2nd. The bridge and path will be closed during construction. We have made arrangements for apedestrian safety fence to be placed from the Loma crosswalk to the stairs that lead into the dirt parking lot, and an additional fence that will run down the parking lot exit and end at the crosswalk that leads to the island between the left and right exits. We are also planning to have a crossing guard at Summit Road during drop-off/pick-up times. We strongly encourage families to drop-off/pick-up in the school parking lot during this period of construction. Thanks in advance for your patience!
