October 30, 2019
Tomorrow, October 31st is a Minimum Day, dismissal is at 12:30p
Dear CT and Loma Families,
My Top 3 Moments of the Week...
- Watching the 5th graders practice their Thriller Dance with Ms. Lelake.
- Talking with kids about their creative costume ideas. We are all getting excited for Halloween!
- Finding the power back on at school this morning. Hurray! Thanks to our dedicated facilities staff for keeping the generator going over the past couple of days!
Halloween Festivities
CT students will have a Halloween costume pageant and contest followed by special Halloween activities starting at 11:30am.
Remember no weapons or gore allowed at school.
Halloween is a minimum day with a 12:30 dismissal time.
Parking Considerations for Thursday
Tomorrow we will have extra cars on campus for the morning Halloween costume parade at Loma. Please use extra caution when driving through the parking lot to drop off your student. If you are parking and walking in with your child, please use extra care, and use the marked crosswalks.
The lower baseball field will be open for extra parking. If you park on the north campus side of the road, please watch for Building Blocks Preschool families, and use the crosswalk to move to the south campus.
Pedestrians and Drivers: Please be aware that we are in the time of year when the sun hits drivers in the eyes and can temporarily blind drivers who are coming up the entry driveway to our campus!
Sincerely,
Karren Zook, Principal
