    Dear CTE Families,

    Traffic Alert

Beginning January 21st, the Santa Clara County FireSafe Council fuel break project is expected to focus on work along the south bound side of Highway 17 from 9am to 3pm, weather permitting.  Hour-long delays are anticipated.  Please plan your trips into the Santa Clara Valley such that you will arrive on campus to pick your child(ren) up on time or make other arrangements for afterschool transportation.  Unfortunately, due to staffing constraints, students who are not picked-up within 15 minutes of dismissal will be walked to Kids and Co. and families will be charged for the time students are supervised by Kids and Co. staff.  For more information on the fuel break project and schedule, go to https://firesafe17.com  Project updates are posted every Friday afternoon.

My Top Three Moments of the Week

    1. Reading Mrs. Dufort’s class’ New Year’s Resolutions. Check them out on the bulletin board in the Loma office. They are very wise!
    2. Watching the Spelling Bee Finals! Great job, spellers! A BIG thank you to our respectful Loma audience!
    3. Chatting with a group of 6th grade boys about the FUN they are having on the CT basketball team. I love to hear all that enthusiasm!

    The Bridge is Open!

Our pedestrian bridge is now open! We will no longer have a crossing guard on Summit Road. Students must use the pedestrian bridge to cross Summit Road.  Students must have a note on file in the school office to cross the bridge without adult supervision.
