NEWS AND UPDATES
Reading Assistance program
Does your child thrive when helping others? Do they enjoy assisting younger students in their learning? If so, we hope they will be interested in signing up for our Reading Assistance program. We are looking for middle school students to join our K-5 Loma teachers in their zoom classes to work in breakout rooms with small groups of children needing extra support. This assistance will occur during your middle schooler’s asynchronous workday, with the intention of giving them the opportunity to be of service, not of adding any extra burden to them.
Any interested 6th, 7th or 8th grader should email Lisa Sullivan directly at email@example.com before Monday, September 28th, include their name, grade and cohort number, so that we can match them to a Loma teacher and get started with this program as soon as possible.
Remote Learning Attendance
Please contact your school office for any of the following reasons during remote learning:
- Your child cannot log into class-email the teacher and the appropriate school office.
- Your child had technical issues or other issues that caused them to log into class late.
- Your child will be absent at an appointment or leaving class early.
