Welcome to Fall. I hope this issue of Wednesday News finds you and your family healthy and well. In this issue, you will find a joint effort between Loma HSC, CTE HSC, and Lakeside School District to support local victims of the CZU complex fire. Please read the information enclosed to find out more information about ways you can get involved to help.

TECH SUPPORT EMAIL
Our Technology team is available to support your technology issues during school days 8am-12pm. If you encounter a technology problem, please email email@example.com. Please be aware that our technology department is limited in the support they can provide to personally owned devices. If they issue is beyond their capacity, a school issued device may be suggested. For additional information regarding tech support, please see the attached Hints and Trouble Shooting tips pdf document.
Remote Learning Attendance Reminder
Please contact your school office for any of the following reasons during remote learning:
- Your child cannot log into class-email the teacher and the appropriate school office.
- Your child had technical issues or other issues that caused them to log into class late.
- Your child will be absent, at an appointment, or leaving class early.

Tech Basics Boot camp for Parents, October 20th 4-5pm
5th Grade teacher Mrs. Ramsay will be hosting a technology basics workshop for interested parents. Mrs. Ramsay will be covering topics that include Zoom, Google Classroom and others. Mark your calendar if interested. Details for signing up to attend will be in next week’s News.

Family, Friends, and Supporters of Loma Prieta-CT English HSCs, today is the day! We are officially kicking off our fundraiser with Charleston Wrap® – and we need YOUR help! To reach our goals and make this fundraiser a success, we need everyone to do their part. Luckily, it’s super easy! Attached to this newsletter, you’ll find a flyer with detailed instructions about how you can register online and support our goals. We appreciate all of your support and encourage you to spread the word to your friends & family, near and far! The more people who shop, the more money we can raise for our organization! TAKE OUT AND SAVE
CTE and Loma HSC Parents
We are partnering with local restaurants to coordinate our TAKE OUT AND SAVE campaign. It’s a win-win situation — you don’t need to cook and you are supporting the home and school associations at the same time! Mark your calendars for Pizza night on Oct 21st! CTE and Loma HSCs Helping Fire Victims
Sadly, 115 students in the San Lorenzo school district lost their homes in the CZU fire—45 of them alone are at Boulder Creek elementary students. Loma and CTE HSC will be partnering with Lakeside School to put together care packages for these students. More information about what is needed and collection dates will be available soon. HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIRE
Loma Prieta Holiday Craft Faire is going ONLINE!!
We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting the Holiday Craft Faire virtually this year. That gives us some new opportunities to expand our reach and extend the faire for a longer period of time.

Dates: Friday, November 27th- Sunday, December 6th
All vendors from last year will receive invitations to submit applications in the next day or two. If you are interested or know someone who would like to apply to the faire, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to include our student vendors on this virtual event. So, start creating your crafts and taking photos of them. Student vendors may participate free of charge. We will provide information on how to apply and how to get your crafts viewed on the page in the next newsletter.
