Loma and CT English will be hosting a donation drive on Saturday, October 24 from 9am-12pm at the Temporary Community Center. Campus News-Track & Field Construction
The track and field is still under construction, though it looks complete. There are hazards in the area and until the fence is down it is not safe for anyone other than construction personnel to be behind the fence. The track surfacing is still curing and has the possibility of damage if people begin to walk on it. Additionally, the grass is now beginning to root but will need 6 weeks minimum before use can be permitted. If people begin using the grass, it will not root and then die which will result in a longer time until completion. We know that everyone is excited to have the new track and field, but we want to make sure it is safe for all and the product is complete before use. Please be patient and stay behind the fence for safety and to allow the completion of the project without damage occurring.
