    Dear Loma Families:

It continues to amaze me how quickly time is going by. I realize that it doesn’t feel like that every day, especially when you are supporting your children from home for school. I want to take a moment to say THANK YOU! Every member of our school staff knows that this is not what any of you signed up for. We know the time, effort, organization, and diligence it takes for you to do the things we are asking of you at home. We know that some of you have put your own work plans on hold to support your children during distance learning. We thank you for everything you are doing to make distance-learning work. I want you to know that this does not go unnoticed. We are grateful for your continued support.

Skyland Community Church has taken its food pantry outside. How does it work? "Give what you can. Take what you need." This is all about neighbors helping neighbors. The goal is to help relieve the burden of food insecurity for individuals and families on the mountain. Take only what you need or donate items that are unopened, unused and unexpired. It's open on the front porch of the church for those who need 1-3 days worth of food.  Please spread the word!  The pantry keeps getting donations almost daily:) There are boxes of books for those missing the library too.  Kids drinks and snacks and pop-top canned meals seem to be going quite well along with toiletries.  Thanks all for making this a great addition to our community!

It is open 24/7 on the front porch of the church's steps at 25100 Skyland Road, Los Gatos, CA. Any questions?  Call Reverend Melanie Weiner at 408-353-1310 or contact the coordinator Shannon Edwards at: shannonedwards14@gmail.com

We are so very happy to announce that the GoodWill truck is finally returning to the mountain the weekend of Dec 5th and 6th!! You know what that means!
