    Dear Loma & CT Families,

Happy New Year! As we look toward 2021 to be a much better year than 2020, I wanted to wish you and yours the best the new year has to offer. Thank you for your ongoing support as you, and us here at school, deal with a landscape that continues to change on a daily basis.

    News and Updates

    Hi mountain community!

The C.T. Leos Club, a group of middle schoolers dedicated to improving our wonderful community, are working on a project to make animal toys to donate to local shelters. But we realized that we could help you, too! If you have any old animal toys that are collecting dust and cluttering the corners of your home, now is your chance to give them to a good cause. Drop the toys off between 1/6/21 and 1/13/21 at the box in front of C.T English’s front office (23800 Summit Road) or, if you aren’t leaving the house, we can pick it up, contact ilovethemountains@gmail.com. The toys must be in good condition. We promise to stay socially distanced and masked at all times, not only with you but with other members of the C.T. Leo’s Club, and to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

    Thank you,

    C.T. Leos Club

Will my child be required to wear a mask at school?

Yes. All children and adults will be required to wear a mask at all times while on school grounds. This includes during recess and PE.

Will my middle school student change for PE?

No. Students will not be changing for PE in school locker rooms or other facilities. Students will be expected to wear comfortable clothes appropriate for PE to school on their PE days.

Will elementary students have recess all together?

No. Elementary recess will be scheduled in a staggered manner by grade level. Classrooms will be assigned to a specific area of the playground. Students will not intermingle with students outside their classroom cohort. Students will be expected to wear face coverings and maintain at least 6’ of social distancing.

Will my children be placed into the same cohort number as their sibling?

Though not a promise, our goal is that children from the same family will be placed into the same cohort.

Will there be symptom screening of students?

Yes. Parents will be required to complete a daily symptom screening of their child(ren) and report these results to school prior to entering school grounds. More information about the platform and detailed instruction to come. Students’ temperature will be taken by school staff before they enter any school building.

Will there be school pictures this year?

Yes. Once we are able to return to inperson learning, school pictures will be scheduled and will occur for your child on one of their on campus learning days. More information will be provided, including school picture information for those students remaining in distance learning.
