Hello students and parents,
Welcome to the start of school! I am super excited to be back in person full time this year! I will unfortunately miss the first two days of school to help my daughter trailer her horse as she moves from California to Wisconsin and starts veterinary school. I will be back on campus on Monday 8/16. Luckily, Mrs. Siegrist, a recently retired CT teacher will substitute for me!
Thanks,
Señora Grant-Richards

Welcome! ¡Bienvenidos!I am looking forward to getting to know you this year. This is my 15th year in the Loma Prieta District. I taught French and Spanish for 10 years in Los Angeles before coming here. I have my Masters of Education from UCLA. In the picture with my family, I realized a 25 year goal of visiting the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico: Mayan ruins, jungle, coral reefs, colonial cities, fascinating people, whale sharks, and sea turtles. It was amazing!!! The previous summer I finished participating in the Merit program at the Krause Institute, where I learned a lot about student centered learning, tech and collaboration. I am looking forward to meeting my new students in my 7th and 8th grade Spanish classes and teaching reading.
