Charlotte Boisvert-Khandelwal is a familiar face and name around our schools- she’s spent over 15 years working to raise money and volunteer for our schools from galas, LPEF President, working on both Home & School Clubs, Jogathons, School Site Council, Budget and Superintendent Committees over the years. She’s passionate that she will never stop fighting for quality programs for our kids so they have access to those resources on the mountain and can leave our mountain prepared to succeed at high school. She believes in attracting and retaining talented teachers and giving them the resources they need so they can achieve great things. She’s proud of the time she was able to spend in the classroom alongside them teaching math and literature.
Community service is a family affair- her husband Sanjay serves as Loma Prieta Community Foundation President and is moderator for 95033talk and her parents- Don and Gina Boisvert are active members of Christ Child parish who focus their time on homeless services and prison outreach.
She’s also a proud parent of two Loma and CT Alumni. Her son Danté completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD and is enjoying working on vehicle dynamics with Rivian. Meanwhile, daughter Kayleigh is living her best life at UC Berkeley studying Civil Engineering and Environmental design.
Charlotte is a voracious reader and bookstagrammer which may explain all the hours as library and book sale volunteer over the years. She also loves landscaping, poker, wine with friends, making random Spotify playlists and dancing to The Summit Sisters.
Charlotte says “ I’m delighted to have the opportunity to leverage what I’ve learned from interacting with the previous 4 superintendents and 9+ principals as parent, volunteer, leader and staff member in a way that again contributes to the support of Loma’s children.”
