Denise Ramón Herrera
Denise Ramón Herrera has served in an administrative role for California public schools for 35 years. She is an advocate for all students and is committed to public education. She feels strongly about providing quality programs that ensure safe and exceptional learning environments for students, teachers, and staff.
Denise and her husband of 44 years have resided in the beautiful mountain community for 24 years. They both attended public schools (K-12) in Santa Clara County, and their children are graduates of Los Gatos High School.
Denise is an elected member on the Santa Clara County Committee on School District Organization. She previously served as chair of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee and chaired the Parcel Tax Oversight Committee. Currently, Denise serves as a member of the high school district’s Budget Advisory Committee.
Denise cares deeply about the community and serves on the following organizations: American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter, the Los Gatos Lions Club, and the History Club of Los Gatos. She is a member of the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, a member of the California Association of School Business Officials, and a graduate of Leadership Los Gatos. She has extensive experience in human relations, school finance, policies, regulations, governance, and proficient in school district operations.
