    Dear Loma and CT Families,

Top Three Moments of the Week

    1. Hanging out with Ms. DePiazza’s 7th graders as they began their “to-scale” murals. My big take-away—sidewalk chalk is a fun math tool!
    2. Enjoying the fancy moves at Miss Lisa’s lunchtime dance party. These kids sure know the Cupid Shuffle!
    3. Popping in on a morning yoga session with Ms. Benson’s class. What a great way to start a sleepy Wednesday morning!

    Important Traffic Alert

CT English will host a countywide cross-country meet on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Traffic on campus and Summit Road will be very heavy throughout the afternoon.

    No Dogs on Campus

We love dogs! Unfortunately, they can create health and safety concerns for schools. As such, dog are never permitted on the Loma or CT campuses. This includes afterschool and on the weekends. Dogs ARE allowed across the street on the north campus. When you use the north campus, please pick up after your dog and place the bag in a refuse container. Thanks for your cooperation!

    Paul’s Construction Corner

Our reconstruction project is continuously moving forward. Wing A’s roof frame is

75% complete and the last of the interior steel stud walls are being famed up. The fire sprinkler system is in the beginning stages of installation and the first structural inspection is scheduled for 9/27.

We have received confirmation that our door package is getting put together and is scheduled for delivery on 10/8.

Wing B as it sits right now is currently 30% complete and framing has started back up again. The framing contractor has offered to ramp up on manpower to help meet the schedule to have the buildings watertight by the end of October.

We are currently 145 days into construction and have not had any injuries on this project.
