Welcome to Ms. Sinclair's First Grade Sea Turtles!
About Ms. Sinclair
Hello, my name is Hannah Sinclair and I am so excited to be your student's 1st grade teacher this year! This is my first year teaching at Loma and my second year teaching first grade. I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Dominican University of California. Prior to Dominican, I attended San Francisco State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in teacher preparation. I was born and raised in Marin County with my two sisters. After I obtained my teaching credential, my boyfriend and I moved to Washington, where I had the opportunity to teach first grade both in person and online. It didn’t take long for us to realize that California would always be our home, so we made the best decision and moved back to the bay area. When I am not teaching at Loma, I love to go to the beach, hike, cook, travel, and spend time with my friends and family.
I have always had a life-long passion for being an elementary school teacher and building positive relationships with my students. My philosophy of education is that all students are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow socially, mentally, and academically. In our classroom, all students are welcome, they will learn from their mistakes, and they will feel part of a community that is safe, responsible, and kind.
I am looking forward to getting to know your student!
