September is Coastal Clean Up Month

It's that time of year:  time to clean up our beaches, parks, creeks, playgrounds and neighborhoods.  The California Coastal Commission have made participating safe and easy this year.  Clean up some place you love any Saturday in September.  And if Saturdays don't work for you, choose any other day.  This year's theme is "Protect Your Happy Place".  All the information you need is below.  There is also an app for counting your trash. I hope your child/ren can spend some time cleaning up their happy place.  There is even a prize for the most unusual item collected!
