Welcome 5th Graders! 

We are so excited for the 2025-2026 school year!  5th graders are the leaders of our school. We are ready to help you soar! 

Mrs. Walsh and Ms. Zanotto team teach 5th grade and will have the opportunity to work with every 5th grade student. Mrs. Walsh will lead all Language Arts and Social Studies instruction and Ms. Zanotto will lead all Math and Science instruction. Go team 5th!

Hello! I am Kendra Zanotto and I am excited about starting my 7th year at Loma Prieta.

I grew up in Los Gatos and live on the mountain with my husband and two children.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a master’s degree in Education from San Jose State University. I am an Olympic bronze medalist from the 2004 Athens Games in the sport of synchronized swimming. I have worked with youth in athletic, educational and restorative justice settings for the past 20 years.

I can’t wait to meet all of my students and their families. Together, we will build a learning community that can meet any challenge.
