Ramadan Mubarak! For Muslims, Ramadan is a time to reflect, gain self-discipline, and build spirituality. Many will observe the tradition of fasting for a month, one of the “five pillars” of Islam, along with the declaration of faith, daily prayers, charity, and pilgrimage to Mecca. This afternoon, the middle school students watched the Fentanyl High documentary, which is about the teen fentanyl poisoning epidemic. There was a panel with current and former Los Gatos High Students who shared their experiences.
