
Today we kicked off Red Ribbon Week at CT English, a national campaign that encourages teens to live a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The Santa Clara County Office of Ed is hosting a parent information night on Thursday, October 24th, if you'd like more info and resources.

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earthquake. Our students participated in the Great Shakeout by practicing the Drop, Cover, and Hold On drill, and then evacuating their classrooms. All K8 students did such a fantastic job!

Today was the 5th grade vs. Staff annual kickball game. Both teams played hard and tied 12-12 in the end. 🏅









Loma Day of Play 2023-2024:
Today Loma students played with hula hoops and jump ropes, built in maker space, painted with water colors, played with legos and board games, played tag and kickball, and did sidewalk chalking. They are enjoying the last week of school!

Today was the last Loma assembly of the school year. 5th graders received awards for being fantastic athletes, scientists, musicians, artists, writers, mathematicians, readers, and leaders! Congratulations to all the students who received awards today!

Come out May 30th for some ice cream and listen to presentations from Firewise Coach Sally Mack and representatives of Central Fire, and CalFire.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! This week our teachers were spoiled by Loma HSC and CT HSC with a coffee cart, bagels, lunch, desserts, and a gift card raffle. Thank you, teachers, for all you do!!











Today our staff was trained by Firefighter Alex Leman and Loma/CT alum, Firefighter Mia Fong, on how to use a fire extinguisher. We practiced using some of the fire department's training tools! 🧯🚒
