Welcome to Loma Prieta – a high performing TK-8 school district located along the spine of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our district serves a semi-rural region between Silicon Valley and the Pacific Ocean. We proudly sustain our “mountain schools” with respect to the generations of families who founded the Loma Prieta community while embracing the tools of 21st century learning that will ensure our students are prepared for a rigorous high school and beyond.
Update: 2022-23 LCAP Finalized
Every year, our District updates and implements the LCAP for our schools. The LCAP is a tool for local educational agencies to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes. The LPJUSD Board of Trustees approved the final draft of our District's 2022-23 LCAP on June 8th. A copy of the document can be found in the link below.

The Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) coordinates with school districts and the County Office of Education to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities, from birth through 22 years of age. A copy of the 2022-23 SELPA plan can be found in the link below.
